Kitty went Home for the Holidays

Me::Munchkin's gone..
Andrew::It doesn't much matter to me.
Me::Well, it was kinda nice to open the door and have something run away from you every time. You know you're not all alone!

You know how they say yawns are contagious?

I’ve always thought myself much more susceptible than most.

Well, I just read about a yawn and yawned. Oh jeez.

WAHHHHHOW. I am both terrified and mesmerized.

Too many adults on Facebook..

I just had to decipher that PTL is apparently now internet shorthand for Praise the Lord. Oh dear.

Bitchin' Time

You know what really grinds my gears? What steams my clams?

When people fill their friends’ facebook and their status updates (and thus my news feed) with quotations from Mylifeisaverage or textsfromlastnight. ESPECIALLY with the comments, “OMYGOOOOD WHYYY IS THIS SO MUCH LIKE US?!” Or “This is sooo meee!”

Yes, keep on publicizing and celebrating your utter lack of originality and full immersion and isolation in middle to upper-middle class white suburban culture. It’s really awesome.

November is the cruelest month.

Some notes:

Stressed and rest rhyme.

I came up with a sweet idea for my NANOWRIMO novel, but it isn’t happening. Not this year.

My sister will never change.

I really do love my majors.

I need to figure out this summer.

Andrew and I are the best.

lucerovespertino:

I have wanted to see this since I was 15.
Since this has been the “year of Broadway” (August: Osage County in January, Wicked in July) the boy is taking me to see Avenue Q in Roanoke this Thursday. It’s not NY… but I mean, they’re PUPPETS. There is no way they can mess it up.
I am SO pumped.

I saw this on Broadway for my 15th Birthday! How cute. And it’s hilarious—enjoy!

My whole friggin' body hurts.

I’m trying to be one of those people who’s all, “Oh, yeah, I have X horrible disease, but don’t worry about me, life’s great!” But whenever I try to be any other person I fail miserably. I’m okay with the knees, but this searing shoulder pain has to stop.

PUPPIES!!!!

Last night I filled out a form to foster dogs from the SPCA. Hooray!!

The more I think about it, the more I realize how perfect it would be to become a dog breeder. A dog breeder poet.

Sometimes I think I'm cool. Okay, so I think I'm cool. And hilarious. And pretty much the best thing that's happened to this planet since Mao. In addition to being the best thing that has happened to this planet since Mao, I attend the University of Virginia where I major in Classics and Comparative Literature. Here are things I think and enjoy!
